Madera County Superintendent of Schools

The Madera County Board of Education serves as the Madera County Committee on School District Organization.  The County Committee functions within the rules and regulations established by the legislature and its own policies and procedures.  

 

The Madera County Committee on School District Organization oversees the reorganization of school districts and district boundaries through territory transfers, consolidations or unifications as well as the establishment or rearrangement of governing board trustee areas as required.  The County Committee approves and confirms changes in school district boundaries. The Committee may respond to petitioners or school district governing boards.

 

Committee membership includes Daniel Bonilla (Chairperson), Cathie Bustos (Vice Chairperson), Shelley Deniz, Tammy Loveland, Zimri Padilla, Nancy Prosperi, and Alfred Soares, Jr.
