Madera County Superintendent of Schools

The Madera County Superintendent of Schools (MCSOS) provides detailed informational sessions to our school districts and charter schools through the Local, State and Federal Update (LSFPU) program. This program includes six, two-hour sessions every six weeks during each school year to inform our district on the latest information regarding Categorical Funding, the California Department of Education, the State Board & Legislature, English Learner student needs, Curriculum & Instruction, and ESSA and other Federal Programs. Aside from our six, two-hour programs throughout the school year, Madera County school districts receive weekly updates in the above areas in the form of an LSFPU Flash for those time sensitive items.
