School Health Services
School health services provide assessment, medical intervention, ongoing family support, specialized health care procedures and other interventions. Credentialed school nurses provide mandated services for programs operated by the Madera County Superintendent of Schools as well as school districts in the county on a contractual basis.
Some of these services may include immunization checks for participation in school, evaluation and assessment for the health and developmental status of pupils, vision and hearing screenings, monitoring of medications, and health education programs.
