•          We have a secure campus that protects our students.  The staff is trained in universal precautions, CPI, and CPR.

•          We maximize learning by creating goals that meet the students’ needs, using direct communication, visual objects, sign language, and available technology.
•          We utilize various teaching strategies such as modeling, repetition, time adaptation, high predictability, and using all senses for learning.
•          We support active learning through student participation in the learning process.  Students make choices, become communication partners, demonstrate appropriate behaviors, and engage in campus jobs and activities.
•          We demonstrate professionalism when we focus on the students’ needs, model best behavior, use best teaching practices, and help the students achieve success.
