Learning Continuity and Attendance Plan

On March 13, 2020, California Governor, Gavin Newsom, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, declared the closure of schools. Madera County Superintendent of Schools (MCSOS) under the guidance of Madera County Department of Public Health, supported the decision and planned to ensure the safety and well being of students, staff and community. Madera County Independent Academy, which operates as an Independent Study Charter school, serving students in grades K-8, had a structure in place ready to support the individual learning needs of each student.
